Ariba supplier management modules
26 © 2021 ASUG Confidential
• Supplier Performance Management (SPM) is a single dimension tool that allows you to create a Supplier Performance Management project on a supplier by supplier basis
• SPM allows monitoring of suppliers on a recurring basis depending on the individual supplier
• SPM has the capability to collect qualitative and quantitative data in surveys which are then graded and rolled up into scorecards, where KPIs and weights of each are stored, providing an overall score of the supplier and their performance
Legacy SAP Ariba supplier performance management
27 © 2021 ASUG Confidential
• The big question - Should we deploy legacy SPM or wait for the future functionality?
• SAP Ariba currently has four options for customers to choose from when it comes to accessing performance functionality:➢ Supplier Information and Performance Management (SIPM) – Current Performance• Maintain existing SIPM and implement legacy SPM
➢ Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) – Current Performance• Adopt new Supplier Lifecycle and implement legacy SPM
➢ Supplier Lifecycle and Performance – Await Future Performance• Adopt new Supplier Lifecycle and await future performance functionality
➢ S4 Customers – Capture quantitative (“hard facts”) data
Options for customers
