AccAD enables end users worldwide to access Web-based SAP applications, such as SAP NetWeaver Portal, at near-LAN speed. However – most global enterprises have varied types of network traffic from multiple applications, and can experience slow application performance further reducing employee productivity. To solve these challenges, SAP and Riverbed Technology have partnered to deliver best-of- breed WAN optimization and Business Management Solutions on a single device: the Riverbed ® Steelhead ® appliance. Specifically, SAP's Accelerated Application Delivery, AccAD package runs on the Riverbed Services Platform (RSP).
