in charge of ensuring that the SAP footprint and roadmap at one of our key Utility customers in the

region, if not in the world, is defined and extended.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are looking for Senior Consultants (f/m) to participate in activities in Utility industry areas and to

deliver expert consulting services and solutions on MENA scale for the SAP industry solution in those

areas with preferably good project implementation experience and/or industry experience. Moreover,

building and maintaining the Utilities consulting community is part of our goals. This includes a

knowledge network, peering with consultants globally and working closely with the Industry Business

Unit (IBU) for Utilities industry, Business Development, Industry Principals, Custom Development and

Global Delivery.

- You will provide expert consulting on international Utilities projects mainly, but not limited to, in the

Middle East and Africa (MENA) region

- Take ownership of the architectural plan, design and implementation for customers SAP Utilities

solutions

- Identify pain points position SAP industry solutions and services Supporting SAPs Utilities industry

customers with the conception and implementation of optimized processes

- Support the Ramp-Up of new SAP products for Utilities and ensuring knowledge transfer to partners

and customers

- Help our team to evolve and position new solution potential

- Establish a network with Process Integration teams, IBU, CD and GD, as well as dedicated partners in

niche areas

- Closely cooperate with the global Utilities industry Hub teams regarding knowledge-sharing, solution

and business development for specific expert topics across EMEA region

- Provide sales support - creation and execution of presentations and demos

- Demonstrate a high degree of mobility

WORK EXPERIENCE

- Extensive experience 5+ years of business processes and systems

- A minimum of 5 SAP for Utilities end to end international/global projects or comparable business

experience

- Familiarity with SAP implementation tools such as Solution Manager and Roadmap Composer

- Experience influencing key stakeholders

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

- University degree or equivalent business experience.

- Extraordinary customer orientation and willingness for continuous learning.

- High degree of analytical and conceptual thinking.

- Utilities application & industry (Electricity, Gas, Water) know-how and practical experience.

Understanding of the deregulated markets.

- Expert knowledge in one or more areas of IS-U (Billing, Device Management, FICA), CRM for Utilities or

EAM.- Solid knowledge of one of the related SAP ERP modules such as SD, MM or PM.

- Proficient knowledge of SAP technology & applications and solutions for the industry.

- Global mobility and willingness to travel on short-term notice (feasibility study support, prototyping,

pre-sales support on a MENA scale).

- Excellent communication skills in English. Communication skills in Arabic are a benefit.
