Raising funds for your local Brainwave Centre. In association with the following partners:

The Santa Dash Starts at 10am on Sunday 9th December at Birchwood Shopping Centre with a 5k Circular route. The Santa Dash is a festive family event open to all ages. Children aged 14 and under can enter the Santa Dash as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

You can register online at www.birchwoodshoppingcentre.co.uk or send entry forms to Brainwave, NW Centre, Unit 602, Birchwood one Business Park, Dewhurst Road, Birchwood, Warrington, WA3 7PU.

Please send your completed entry form and cheque to the address shown on the entry form. Closing date for registration is Monday 30th November 2012, all entries after this date will be late entries on the day. Entry on the day is £15.

The Birchwood Santa Dash costs £10 per adult entry; your entry fee covers a 3 piece Santa Outfit to be worn on the day of the event. The entry fee per child is £5; and children will receive a Santa Hat.

Be part of something special and exciting this Christmas and take part in Birchwood’s SANTA DASH. Run or walk 5k to raise funds for the Brainwave Centre, Birchwood.

You can register online at www.justgiving.co.uk/brainwavesantadash. We are encouraging people to raise as much money for the Warrington Brainwave Centre. Brainwave works with families to deliver individual home based therapy and exercise programs that help children with disabilities and developmental delay to achieve their potential. Charity Number 1073238.

Brainwave will be celebrating 30 years providing support to disadvantaged children and their families. Please help support a child this Christmas. We ask that Santa Dashers raise a minimum of £25 per entry for the event.

The Birchwood Santa Dash will cover a 5k circular footpath route around Birchwood, starting and finishing at the Shopping Centre. Just make sure your Santa trousers are safely secured before you set off!

Alternatively, a 1k Santa Parade will take place at 10.15am where children will have the opportunity to walk a 1k lap of the Shopping Centre with fellow Mascots Woody and Captain Brainwave.

Children will be able to wear fancy dress costume for the Parade. Ticket price for this event will be £10 per family entry of 5.All Santa Suit Collections will take place from Birchwood Shopping Centre. Show your confirmation form – pick up will take place on 6th, 7th or 8th December 2012.

The funds raised from the Santa Dash will contribute to the running cost of the centre in Warrington. We need to raise £52,000 per year to run the centre, since we receive no statutory funding from the government. By taking part in the dash you are supporting the local Brainwave Centre and the work of the charity.

The Brainwave charity supports children with disabilities and developmental delay to achieve life- changing skills and greater independence. Families come along to the Centre, based in Birchwood Warrington, where by each child is assessed and a Programme of exercises is designed by our therapy team, according to the child’s individual needs. Parents and carers are shown how to carry out the Programme so that they can undertake it at home, providing a framework so the child may excel and reach their full potential. This might be the ability to crawl, walk, achieve balance and concentration or speech.

On production of your letter you will be able to collect your Santa costume from Birchwood Shopping Centre on the following day’s: Thursday 6th December 10am - 4pm, Friday 7th December 10am - 4pm, Saturday 8th December 10am - 4pm.

All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and have parental consent to take part in the event.
