Finally! The snowboard industry has recognized the awesomeness of rocker shape technology. Santa Cruz has worked with “rocker” shapes for decades in the development of our skateboards and surfboards and even in our early snowboard designs but the industry wasn’t ready for it back then. At last, all of the Research and Development in rocker shape technology that we’ve tuned and improved over the years has been applied in the 2010-2011 line. We put the “rock n roll” in rocker shapes! ‘Bout time for the rest of the industry to catch up and learn what it’s all about. Rocker = Fun A shorter turning radius makes it easier to spin around. The flexibility makes it perfect for hitting terrain park obstacles which are popping up all around the globe. Jibbing is a lot more fun and even pro riders say that riding kink rails is easier with a rocker board. Rocker = Flexibility Park, Pipe, Powder, Slopestyle and Urban Terrain Secret Assault missions. It’s all possible with rocker shape technology! Rocker = Floating Rocker shapes make it easier to float riding powder. No more set-back binding adjustments, riding in the back seat, or risky business spinning around to ride switch in powder. That’s all history, rocker is the future. Rocker = Forgiving Rocker boards are much more forgiving than camber boards. A rocker board doesn’t jack you up on your landing just because you’re 2° off.

The Snap! Rocker is a transition between rocker and camber shape and is made to convince even the most stubborncamber rider out there. Without pressure, the shape is much like a camber board, however, when pressing the center of the board, the nose and tail pop up and the board turns into your classical rocker board.

The Surf Rocker is our most extreme rocker, offering you fantastic jibbing and superfast turns. This super sweet shape makes riding powder effortless but also works well on obstacles on and off the mountain.

The Go Big! Rocker was designed for those out there who want to enjoy all the benefits of riding a rocker, but don’t want to give up hucking off big kickers and riding super pipes. The camber-rocker-camber shape gives you the ability to turn fast (rocker) and still maintain stability at high speeds (camber) and the ultimate pop off of jumps and kickers.
