HOLY LAND CHRISTIANS DISPLAY COMING TO ST. MAXIMILIAN KOLBE On the weekend of October 19th and 20th, there will be a display of beautiful olivewood handmade carvings from the Holy Land in our Church for purchase. These Carvings are made by the Christians of Bethlehem who use them as their source of income. These brothers and sisters of ours are enduring hardships at this moment because of the volatile situation in their home country. You can support them by purchasing some of these beautiful carvings after Mass.
The Twelve Promises of Jesus to Saint Margaret Mary for those devoted to His Sacred Heart: 1. I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life. 2. I will establish peace in their families. 3. I will console them in all their troubles. 4. They shall find in My Heart an assured refuge during life and especially at the hour of their death. 5. I will pour abundant blessings on all their undertakings. 6. Sinners shall find in My Heart the source of an infinite ocean of mercy. 7. Tepid souls shall become fervent. 8. Fervent souls shall speedily rise to great perfection. 9. I will bless the homes where an image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored. 10. I will give to priests the power of touching the most hardened hearts. 11. Those who propagate this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be effaced. 12. The all-powerful love of My Heart will grant to all those who shall receive Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance; they shall not die under my displeasure, nor without receiving their Sacraments; My heart shall be their assured refuge at that last hour.

Visit the North American Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima The North American Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima is coming to Saints Simon and Jude on Sunday, October 13 through Monday, October 14, 2019 . SSJ will host The International Centennial Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima that was personally blessed by Pope Francis for the 100th Anniversary of the Fatima apparitions. (One of six images). This Image of Our Lady of Fatima is traveling through North America to visit parishes and diocese in every country on the continent. We are very fortunate for the pilgrimage to stop at SSJ and to be able
to respond to the Holy Father’s appeal to welcome and support Our Lady of Fatima’s message of prayer and penance for the salvation of souls and peace in the world. This visit will include regularly scheduled Masses, procession, Eucharistic Adoration, Marian consecration, inspirational talks, brown scapular investiture, private veneration, and rosaries.
Don't miss her visit for it’s only a one-time experience to feel her presence and touch your heart.

SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY On October 7, the Roman Catholic Church celebrates the yearly feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Known for several centuries by the alternate title of “Our Lady of Victory,” the feast day takes place in honor of a 16th century naval victory which secured Europe against Turkish invasion. Pope St. Pius V attributed the victory to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was invoked on the day of the battle through a campaign to pray the Rosary throughout Europe.
