Sand / dust storms are common during the summer season especially in the state of Rajasthan and a few small checks could go a long way to save someone’s life

Plant Design and Maintenance - The plant design needs to be robust, with the ability to withstand the

highest wind speed (sustained gust over a 3-second period) over 50 years (~ 180 km/h)

- Carry out scheduled maintenance for the PV plant, tightening of PV modules, MMS, Cables and detect or avoid any danger

Before and During the Storm- Pay heed to any Dust storm warning you receive- Move to a covered location; if not possible move to a higher ground- Use a mask or wet cloth to cover your face - Shield yourself from flying objects and stay away from possible hazards –
