The Tower of Hércules is the most ancient lighthouse in the world that still works. It is in the coat of arms of our city with the shells that are the symbols of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
This is Riazor Stadium the field of Deportivo, our football team
We have our own language (Galician) and a culture with roots in ancient
Celts (as Ireland, Scotland…)
We have beautiful landscapes and quiet places.
We have traditional crafts and pottery.
Archaeological ruins in Galicia
Next to A Coruña is Santiago de Compostela, a very famous place of religious pilgrimages.
Galicia has tasty seafood and special recipes as “empanada”.
