    Remote Control Buttons and Functions:

    This is a special remote control for the visua lly impaired persons and has Braill e points on the Power, Channel, Volume buttons.

    Changing the Screen Size

    Your TV has several screen size options, each designed to work best with specictypes o video input. I you have a cable box or satellite receiver, it may have its ownset of screen sizes as well.

    To change the screen size, press theP.SIze button on your remote. The frst timeyou press it, your TV displays the current setting. There after, each time you pressthe P.SIze button, you change the size of the picture on the screen.

    Sc Fit displays a full HD picture covering the entire screen with no cutoffon any side. It is only available when your TV inputs an HDMI (720p, 1080i,1080p), Component (1080i, 1080p), or DTV (over-the-air 1080i) signal.

    Changing the Picture Mode

    Your TV has four preset Picture Modes with factory adjusted settings, eachdesigned to give you an excellent picture under specifc conditions.

    1. Turn on your TV.

    2. Using your remote, press the MenU button on your remote.Then, select PictuMod.

    3. On the Pictu Mod menu, use the or on your remote to selectthe Pictu Mod you want.

    4. Press the exIT button to exit the menu.

    Viewing the On Screen Menus

    1. With the power on, press the MenU buttonon your remote. The main menu appears.

    The menus let side has the ollowing menuoptions: Pictu, Soud, Chal, Stup,Iput,Applicatio, and Suppot.

    2. Press the or button on your remoteto select a menu option, and then press theenTerE button.

    3. When done using the menu, press the exIT button on your remote to exit.

    Changing Channels and Adjusting the Volume

    Change the channels by pressingthez button on the remote.

    You can also change thechannels by pressing thezbuttons onthe front panel of your TVand adjust the volume bypressing theybuttons.

    If your TV is attached to a cableor satellite box, you change thechannel using the boxs remote.

    Adjust the volume by pressing they button on the remote.

    Setting the Clock

    1. Turn on your TV.

    2. Using your remote, press the MenUbutton on your remote.Then, select Stup Tim.

    3. Select Clock Mod, and then pressthe enTerE button. Set ClockMod toAuto or Maual.

    Select Auto if you have a digitalchannel in your area and are not

    using a cable/sat box.

    When you set Clock Mod to Maual

    4. Select Clock St, and then press the enTerE button. The Clock Set screenappears.

    5. Using the number buttons on your remote, enter the Moth, Da, ya, Hou,and Miut. Use the or button to move between entry felds.

    6. Press the reTUrn button on your remote when done.

    Connecting a USB Device for Media Play

    1. Turn on your TV.

    2. Connect a USB devicecontaining photo, music and/or movie fles to the USB (HDD)jack on the side of the TV.

    3. When the Application selectionscreen appears, press theenTerE button on yourremote to select Mdia Pla(USB).

    Step 5 : Run Plug & PlayWhen you turn on your TV for the rst time, it automatically launches the Plug &Pla function. With Plug & Pla, you can select the On Screen Display language,set the clock mode, and launch the TVs channel memorizing process. It alsodisplays connection instructions similar to those i n this guide.

    To navigate whilePlug & Pla is running, press the Up, Down, Left or Rightarrow buttons on your remote. To make a selection, press the enTerEbutton. To skip a screen, press the MenU button.

    To turn on your TV, press the POwer button on the remote or press thePOwer button on the TV. To run Plug & Pla, ollow these steps:

    1. On the Language screen, select the language for the On Screen Display(OSD) using your remote control, and then press enTerE button. TheHome Use screen appears.

    2. Select Hom Us, and then press enTerE button. I you select StoDmo, the TV will reset your picture and audio settings every 30 minutes. Afteryou press enTerE button, the Antenna Source screen appears.

    3. If your TV is only attached to an antenna, selectAi. If your TV is onlyattached to cable and you have no cable box, select Cabl. If your TV isattached to an antenna and cable with no box, selectAuto. When done,press enTerE button on your remote. The Select Cable System screenappears.

    IMPORTANT: If your TV is attached to a cable or satellite box, skip Steps3 through 5. After Plug & Pla is complete, set your TV to Channel 3 or 4,according to the directions or your cable or satellite box.

    4. If your TV is attached to a cable system and you have no cable box, youmust select your cable system type. If you have Digital cable, you mustselect the cable system type or both Aalog and Digital.

    After you have selected the cable system type, select Start, and thenpress the enTerE button on your remote.

    Most cable systems are Standard (STD) systems. I you are not sureabout what kind o cable system you have, contact your cable company.

    5. The TV memorizes the available channels. This process can take up to 45minutes. After the TV has memorized the channels, the Clock Mod screenappears.

    6. Choose the Clock Mod. Select Auto i you have a digital channel in yourarea. Select Maual if you dont, or if you have a cable or satellite box. Whendone, press enTerE button. The Daylight Savings screen appears.

    I you select Maual, the clock setting screen appears.

    7. Select the daylight saving time setting: O, O, orAuto, and then pressenTerE button.

    8. After the time zone screen, The connection method for best HD screen quality

    is displayed. Press Right arrow button on your remote to view each screen insuccession. Press the Blue button to skip this section.

    9. Th ejo ou TVscreen appears. and then press enTerE button.

    Selecting a Source

    To watch a movie on your Blu-ray player or watchyour favorite TV show, you must select the cor rectsource. A source is a device, such as a Blu-ray/DVDplayer, a cable/satellite box, antenna or a cable TVinput. Sources can be connected to your TV throughthe HDMI, DVI, Component, Composite, or D-subconnections, or through the Antenna or Cable Inconnections.

    To view the signal from a source connected to the HDMI, DVI, Component,Composite, or D-sub jack, press the SOUrCe button on your remote. Each timeyou press the SOUrCe button, you change to a dierent source.

    Press to select additional digital channels broadcast bythe same station. For example, to select channel 54-3,

    Displays the channel list on the screen.

    Quickly selects frequently used functions.

    Return to the previous menu.

    View the Media Play.

    Colored buttons for use in the Channel List, Media Playmenu, etc.

    Adjusts the volume.
