Federico Casalegno pointed out, that the function of homes are changing:
THE HOME AS A LIVING ORGANISM
• At the beginning, homes provide the simple protection from danger and from the environment.
• The second phase of home technology was mechanical. We develop system like plumbing and wiring. Homes went beyond basic shelter and become more comfortable and efficient.
• Today we are at the start of a surface: The home as a living organism. The home will be equipped with sophisticated sensors, Ai and robotics = the intelligent home. The goal isn‘t to add more devices and products, but is to enable us to live better, with more powerful, intuitive and simplified technologies
