Amid unprecedented need, United Way’s Community Support Fund brought the community together to pull tens of thousands of families from the point of financial crisis.

JAN 2009:

NOV 2009: The United Way Financial Stability Center, Powered By SPIN opens in Lynn. It’s goal: To bridge the gap between crisis and economic empowerment. 13 Lynn nonprofits join the effort to create an integrated path to financial stability.

United Way is committed to staying beside families in this prolonged recession as they get back on their feet and regain long term financial stability.

United Way will invest $125,000 to expandaccess to free tax filing and the earnedincome tax credit (EITC) for hard-working families in 2010.
