Cocktail menu inspired by horses

Festival coordinator Jackie Erickson has created a novel concept for the 2011 Roma Cup Festival – a

drink menu inspired by the horses that will be racing in the event.

Jackie Erickson said the menu is a way to connect punters and attendees to the race.

“The cocktail menu this year is a great way to get the 10,000 attendees to be excited about the

races,” she said.

“It’s something to wet their palettes.”

Bacardi spokesperson Anna Hendricks said that the organization would be sponsoring The 2011

Roma Cup Festival.

“We were more than happy to get on board to support this concept,” said Ms. Hendricks.

“We hired mixologists to create a drink based on two horses that will be racing this year and we are

excited to share these drinks with our fans.”

The 2011 Roma Cup will attract over 10,000 attendees to the town.
