Thank You!
This book was really difficult to write without motivation from my dear ones who supported
me on every step. There were times when I
felt like not working on it anymore and left all hopes but all my family members, my mom &
dad, my brothers Kartik and Satvik kept on pushing me, sometimes by taunting me and
sometimes by pushing me to follow my passion. My friends Vikas Shinde, Anik
Sharma, Gaurav Aggarwal, Harsh Mehra and Sarita Singh supported me throughout the
journey of this book. I hope efforts of all of us
show some colors just like rainbow shows after rain.

Foreword
"You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough"
-- Mae West Our lives are governed by our feelings.
These days, sadness, frustration, sorrows,
disappointment, anger are the most frequent once and that of love being the
rarest. Love makes us feel wanted, it stops the
ticking clock for us, it makes us feel complete. Love is just like that relieving cup of coffee in
the monsoon evenings, it is just the bright sun
in the Winters and the cosy evening moon in the harsh summers. It is that powerful feeling
that we are always trying to find in the outer, unknown world. Love melts the tougher, inner
us and makes us deliver the best of ourselves in life.
Shouldn't this one life be filled with lots of
love? Is finding a love story an easy task? How
do we know if we're in love? How do we know if we're with the right person?
My friend, Shina Kalra shares a story in the chapters ahead, where she highlights the
experience of a young girl and her journey to find the love of her life. Her love life is as
straight as a spiral and as simple as the
atomic and nuclear laws.
Every step of her life is governed by a question, 'What's next?'

Chapter 1
It was a new day for her at a new place. She joined a new office. It was a beautiful
beginning. Drashti‟s presence gave her
confidence in entirely alien environment. As she got in, there were guards to check Identity
cards. In the absence of an identity issued by the organization, she presented her voters
card, and the guard let her in. She walked a few steps, and was greeted with greenery all
around. There was a beautiful garden with many colorful flowers. In the center there was
a big square shaped pond, a fountain
decorated its heart, splashed in a spectacular show of light. It was magnificent. She was
close to nature, and standing there, she felt that the fresh and cool air had been washing
the dust and sweat of the journey. She was amazed by the beauty and architecture of the
place, and was fascinated by its rejuvenating
aura. That place was just beautiful! It's the first word which can best describe that place.
She went inside the building and found it equally appealing. She entered the gate and
saw coffee shop on right, and ice cream parlor on the left. The consideration shown by the
organizations towards its employees was apparent. She reached a point where an
employee had to punch in the card to get the

glass door open. So she looked here and there
to see what's next. It was major question of her life all the time: What's next!!
A bulky lady was sitting at the reception, which helped them get inside after issuing
them a visitor‟s card. Drashti was her friend from the previous company, where she had
worked in her home town, and when they were looking for a job in the metropolis, they were
ecstatic when their wish came true, and both
of them cleared the interview of same organization. They were close to each other,
and there were no secrets between them. They both thought so but who knows! God knows!!
They took the lift and reached fourth floor. She was still trying to figure out things while
entering the door. Her mind was abuzz.
Excitement of new place, and hope of making new friends, mingled with the fear of losing
herself in the crowd. Losing herself in the crowd was her biggest fear ever. She was quite
different from others. Her name was Sarah, which means princess of the world. So how
can princess be one just like all others? It is just her name's definition but she had
different strategy altogether. She always heard
from everyone to "go with the flow" but her thinking was quite different. According to her,
only dead fishes go with the flow which she definitely wasn‟t. She is one of her kind and
she has to prove it. With all these things in her head, both of them met representatives
from the human resources, did some paperwork, and were sent to the auditorium.
The word 'auditorium' gave her a lousy feeling,
like in college, where it meant going to that big

hall, with so many chairs, to attend a boring
lecture; chairs that climbed infinitely, from the stage towards the back, like the ascent of hell.
But that place was not at all like it, which surprised her. It was a huge room with few
chairs, lined up in front of three long stairs towards the back, which extended from one
corner to the other. It was similar to the stairs near basketball or football court for audience.
The floor was carpeted with green grass,
which was sprinkled with water, and shimmered. In front of the stairs, besides the
podium, a huge table was kept, that had plates burdened with chips and sandwiches,
kept for the new hires. And, there they were, sitting on the stairs, waiting for the so called
lecturer to arrive. Slowly but steadily, the
room got occupied with new hires. Just in few minutes the empty chairs were occupied by
people from HR's (who hire and fire people, and have coarse faces) and apart from them
there was a person to introduce all new hires to the new company.
That person started acknowledging work and process for which all of them were hired
and gave them some papers to fill. They
seemed to be so many pages to fill with information and signatures all over. It was
quite tiring and boring but was important. No one read those papers and just signed them
all. Done ! There on she embarked her new ride to a
new place with a friend accompanied between an unknown bunches of people around. There
were many people around who turned up for
that day, that day was called Induction day. A
