The first thing I want to say about Steve is that he’s a top bloke. This matters a lot to me as it is increasingly rare you find someone who is a real pleasure to work with because of their personality and their ability. Steve has all the attributes you want from a PM; vision, organisation, clarity, eye for detail and passion for creative work. That said, what cuts him apart from those around him is two things. The first is his ability to create and foster genuine relationships across all areas of the business. In turn he gets things done quicker and better than those around him. Secondly, he has the confidence to force things through when it’s needed, never shys away from a problem and wants to have the difficult conversations in the room not over a long email chain two days latter. If you’re looking at Steve I suggest you get him in for a chat. One because you’ll like him and most importantly because he will protect what matters to you most - the work.
