Salvation comes to the human heart, not as a result of religion and self-effort, but as a result of relationship, and as a result of the living presence of Jesus Christ taking up residence in your heart and life as Savior and Lord.

A living relationship with Jesus brings about things that no amount of religion could ever do.

When Jesus enters my life, I receive…

1.Forgiveness because He is my High Priest

•The Sadducees were the priestly party of Jesus’ day.

Hebrews 10.1-10

•Jesus came, a High Priest above all priests, and offered himself.

2. Righteousness because He is the fulfillment of the law

•From the Law through Moses to the time of Jesus, not one human being had succeeded in keeping the Law. (Romans 3.9-10,12)

•The Law was not given to make us righteousness. (Romans 3.20)

•2 Corinthians 5.21; Romans 5.17

3. Power because He is my King •All the power of the kingdom comes when the King enters in.

John 14.12
