Being “Elderly” means
I have more candles on my birthday cake than you do.
My “age” determines whether I’m eligible for specific discounts or services

Being “Elderly” does NOT mean
I can’t drive
I can’t stay in my own house
My family can usurp my rights and make decisions for me
I have to put up with disrespectful or exploitive behavior to get help
I lack purpose or the need to share knowledge and build relationships
