Salmon Plumbing Repair or Replacement Program

Hot Water to the Tenant same day (for all calls/faxes before 2pm Monday to Friday).

 

Temporary Hot Water System supplied where new unit can’t be repaired or installed immediately.

 

 If we are not required to provide the new hot water system we charge $280 includes GST to provide and collect the temporary system (collection to occur within 14 days).

Free quotes for upgrade to Gas or Solar System. Assistance with associated paper work and STC rebates.

Fixed prices as per attached schedules.

24/7 After Hours replacement or repair service available at a flat fee of $150 (includes GST )in addition to installation schedules, provided we can source a suitable/comparable unit.

*We call your tenant prior to arriving on site and arrive on time.

*It’s a courtesy to your tenant and ensures we can gain access to complete the work.

*We check (not repair) the power circuit from the Hot water system back to the power board.

*Our standard practice to ensure the issue is not house wiring, avoids wasting time and money.

*We install a new self draining base.

*Ensures the install is to code, reduces the incidence of tanks rusting at the base and provides a safe and level base to mount the new tank.

*We install new Duo and Cold water expansion valves (and pressure relief valves if required).

*Ensures the install is to code and meets Manufacturers requirements and preserves the product warranty .The hot water system works as it should, and it will last as long as it should.

*We install tempering valves on all new hot water services.

*To comply with the anti-scald legislation.

*We insulate the hot water line back to the house (including valves) and the hot water relief valve outlet.

*Ensures the install is to code, improves the efficiency of the system and eliminates the possibility of burns from exposed pipework.

*We provide for up to 2.5m of pipework to direct the hot water relief valve to a permissible discharge point.

*Ensures a “to code install", eliminates a termite issue due to water pooling on the ground and minimizes the possibility of scalding from unexpected discharge.

*We submit appropriate Council documentation, Gas compliance certificates and affix gas compliance plates.

*It’s your guarantee of a legal (“to code”) installation.

*We clean up when we are finished , including removal of the old tank.
