It’s the festive season and what a wonderful time of year to step outside in fine weather and discover what makes Salisbury such a great place to explore.

As the year draws to a close, it’s a time for reflection but also a chance to welcome in new beginnings.

Join in the celebrations as we welcome a fabulous new chapter for our community with the opening of the Salisbury Community Hub.

A weekend of entertainment, food and fun will be held on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December at the Hub and in the Civic Plaza/ Inparrinthi Kumangka.

Take a look inside this edition of Discover Salisbury for more details and a full schedule of the opening weekend to help you plan your celebrations – there’s also a handy map enclosed!

The Salisbury Christmas Parade and Salisbury Christmas Markets will be held in conjunction with the opening celebrations and of course you will have the opportunity to meet the big man in red at the Hub’s magic cave throughout the weekend.

Other exciting events to put in your family calendar include Australia Day celebrations on January 26 and the 2020 Salisbury Secret Garden, which will be held February 21 to 23.
