DOMINATING COLORS ONLY HIGH GREEN

A profile of high GREEN with no other dominant colors is relatively rare, especially in the West and demonstrates considerable stability. Stability is a

key factor that accounts for patience, calm and an open and friendly personality and sympathy for others feelings and their opinions. They value socializing with others. They are not however, particularly extrovert and relying on more socially active people to take the initiative.

GREEN HIGHER THAN RED People with this combination are slow paced, which means that they can work well in situations that others would find less interesting or even boring. They are passive in nature and are prepared to accept that there are things they cannot change. People with this combination often have an open and optimistic attitude, especially to other people. They are not competitive and prefer to avoid situations where conflict could arise. They are therefore considerate to others. They like to develop open, warm and friendly relationships with people around them. If YEL-LOW is also high, they tend to be even more open and outward-focused. A profile that also has high BLUE, shows a more practical attitude. The result is a behavioral style where the person focuses particular attention to the details of a task.

GREEN HIGHER THAN YELLOW This combination indicates a person who plans and contemplates their words and actions more than most other behavioral styles. Meeting deadlines is more difficult to deal with for this behavioral type. In their favor, they are never the less very thoughtful and reliable. How the combination is expressed often depends on the level of BLUE in the profile in question. If BLUE is high, it gives the individual a disciplined and purposeful approach, where all actions are planned carefully and cautiously. Where BLUE is low, there can be considerable resistance to change.

GREEN HIGHER THAN BLUE People with this blend in their profile have particular issues dealing with change. Once they understand and follow set procedures, they find it very difficult to adapt to new situations. They often feel great loyalty to the present and their social circle. They may become rebellious and do what they can to maintain the status quo when faced with changes. People with this combi-nation work best when they can focus on a single task. They find it difficult to shift attention from one thing to another. Once they have accepted a certain course of action, one can however rest assured that they will complete the task. This com-bination is usually seen in passive, patient behavioral styles, but can sometimes be found in a profile with high RED. When this is the case, one can expect that the person in will also demonstrate a remarkable tenacity and determination.

WHEN GREEN COMMUNICATES WITH RED

> Focused on people > Prefer a secure and stable environment > Team Player > Systematic methods > Patient, empathetic, good listener > Cautious

> Results-oriented > Prepared to take risks > Competitive > Innovative > Bold, fearless> Resolute

Two GREENs cooperate and communicate well. A possible limitation may be that both are cautious and do not want to take unnecessary risks. Their slow decision making can also cause them to miss opportuni-ties.

GREEN prefers a slow-paced communication style with a focus on good relationships. RED is driving, they think and act quickly and want to see fast results. In order to establish a good working relationship with RED, GREEN must become more transparent in their communication. Asking questions makes it easier for GREEN to understand REDs thoughts.

COMMUNICATION BETWEEN COLORS

WHEN GREEN COMMUNICATES WITH YELLOW

> Focused on people > Prefer a secure and stable environment > Team Player > Systematic methods > Patient, empathetic, good listener > Cautious

> Focused on people and emotions > Prepared to take risks > Convincing > Creative problem solver > Enthusiastic, inspiring

> Focused on people > Prefer a secure and stable environment > Team Player > Systematic methods > Patient, empathetic, good listener > Cautious

> Results with high quality > Security > Defines, clarifies, provides information > They are rarely wrong! > They anchor in reality > Consistent, looking for facts

Both GREEN and YELLOW appreciate close relationships and friendly in-teraction. Their relationship may however be hampered by the differenc-es in their pace of working and willingness to take risks. To improve the relationship, GREEN may need to increase their pace, introduce a little humor and encourage the YELLOW’s creative ideas.

Both Green and Blue appreciates a good working relationship with other people. They are both methodical and prefer to avoid risk. The differ-ence is that Green is focused on relationships, while the Blue focuses on facts and data. Before any changes Green needs to be confident that the change will really lead to something better, while Blue need “proof”.

GREEN IN TEAMWORK

GREEN prefers to work as party of a team. GREEN does not like change and has a particu-larly hard time coping with sudden changes. GREEN is therefore most suited to be part of larger group working on longer term projects and relationships. The work they under-take should focus on maintenance, regardless of it is management, support or sales. If a change is unavoidable, the GREEN needs time to adapt to the new rules.

The GREEN appreciates clear instructions, preferably broken down in a logical sequence. The GREEN also prefers to listen rather than talk and thrives on supporting others in their work. For GREEN the way to achieving the goals is more important than the actual goal. They are therefore not suitable as leaders in a result driven environment.

In teamwork GREENs often show their strengths by being: > Focused on group dynamics > Patience with others > Receptive to others’ needs and feelings > Loyal to both people and tasks > Selfless > A real team player and support other

GREEN’S PRIMARILY FOCUS IN TEAMWORK

GREEN’S VALUESGREENs value people highly if they are structured, calm, social and prioritize the relationship. GREEN also values people with a clear vision that they can follow.

GREEN measure their own value by: > How good their relationships are with others > How well others show appreciation for them
