    1:- piezoelectric technology

    2:- thermal technology

    Thermal technology:-

In this processes the ink in the nozzle Is heated till it is expands and

propelled out of the nozzle. As the ink comes out of the nozzle, it gets

cooled down and falls on the paper forming a tiny dot on the paper. To

control the temperature of the print head, it is divided into two stages.

    (i) ON DOT PULSE WARMING METHOD.

(ii) OFF DOT PULSE WARMING METHOD.

    ON DOT PULSE WARMING METHOD:-

In this process, the ink in the chamber is heated till it

expands and comes out of the nozzle. As the ink comes out, it stops

    heating.

    OFF DOT PULSE WARMING METHOD

In this process, when the ink is coming into the

chamber, it absorbs the heat surrounding it which helps to control the

temperature of the print-head. As the ink comes into the chamber, it starts

    heating again.
