    Survey Methodology

Michael Page International conducts regular salary surveys based

on the day to day activities o our specialist markets and through

well-established relationships with our clients and candidates.

These surveys aim to o er an accurate and up-to-date snapshot o

the current salary levels and are designed to assist the employers as

well as the employees in the recruitment and hiring decisions.

The ollowing Procurement & Supply Chain survey endorses the views

o the Procurement & Supply Chain teams o Michael Page International

in Switzerland. This study was achieved through constant interaction

and eedback with our candidates and clients. Our client base includes

not only all major international corporations based in Switzerland but

    also smaller, regional organisations.

In Switzerland, most o the salaries have a xed (base) and variable

(bonus and other ringe bene ts) part. We have observed a wide range

o bonuses depending on sector o activity and level o management.

The average variable part o salaries is signi cantly lower in Switzerland

than in the EU countries such as Germany and France, but tends togrow. Employees see their base revenue stabilize with the possibility

to generate signi cant bonuses related to numbered targets.
