INTRODUCTIONSalary management system is to provide an option to generate salary automatically every month. This software also equipped with to enter the attendance of each employee in the organization, it help them to track each employee attendance, based on this we can generate salary. The software built to generate individual pay slip and summary of the salary. It also has option to generate the report for provident fund and ESI. So, they can take the print out of provident fund and ESI to submit to the department.

EXISTING SYSTEMSalary calculation is done manually.Possible chance of errors even if all the details are checked thoroughly.As the process is done manually, preparing of salary slip can be delayed.Difficult to search a particular salary of a particular employee.

PROPOSED SYSTEMThe system helps the user to add details of the employee to the database easily.This improves data recovery speed, easy searching and also provide editing of datas in the database.No chance of errors as the calculation is done computerized.Salary slip is generated after calculating all the deductions in one place.

CONCLUSIONSalary Management System software developed for a company has been designed to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce the time taken to handle the Salary activity. It is designed to replace an existing manual record system thereby reducing time taken for calculations and for storing data. The system is strong enough to withstand regressive daily operations under conditions where the database is maintained and cleared over a certain time of span. The implementation of the system in the organization will considerably reduce data entry, time and also provide readily calculated reports.
