Entry-level auditors are team members and are engaged in all aspects of the audit including planning and performing the audit, writing parts of the report, and presenting results to senior Defense officials.

These salaries are for our HQ-Alexandria office. Salaries may be slightly lower at other field offices.

The Pathways Recent Graduate Program is open to graduates who have completed a qualifying degree program within the last 2 years or will complete the degree within 9 months in an accredited school. The program includes:

• temporary positions that may be full or part time.

• completion of 640 work hours; up to 320 of these hours may be waived if GPA is 3.5 or above or applicant is a member of an Honor Society.

An audit team is typically made up of:

Travel requirements may range from minimal to up to 50%, although the typical auditor travels roughly 20% of the time.

• Usually 2 to 3 auditors travel together. Travel expenses are paid by the Government.

• Travel is typically 1 to 2 weeks at a time.• Amount of travel depends on audit
