Greece has impossibly blue seas, gorgeous beaches, blue-domed Greek Orthodox churches, picturesque villages, and famous historical sites. Visitors have been lured to this ancient civilization for thousands of years and few cities rival Athens when it comes to historical importance. Travel to Athens is a must for history and archeology buffs, but the city's hillsides and picturesque vistas will be equally appreciated by nature lovers. Greece is the ultimate Mediterranean getaway.

First Graders Learn How Birds Get Food
This week, 1st graders learned about how different birds use their beaks to get food. Students
used warbler beaks (straws) and duck beaks (cups) to collect food. Students learned that warbler
beaks are like tweezers and are able to pick food out of rocks, and duck beaks are good for
scooping lots of food.
