The Creche structure has been assembled and ready for Advent. As you may have noticed each week, new figures will be added to the crèche. The reason behind this: 1st Weekend of Advent…”The Angel is there making “Ready the Place.” 2nd Weekend of Advent…“The Shepherd and his flock arrive in anticipation of the event.” 3rd Weekend of Advent… “Sensing what is to come, the oxen and donkey take their place waiting for the Holy Family.” 4th Weekend of Advent… “Mary and Joseph arrive and prepare a resting place for their new Son.” Christmas Eve… “The time has arrived for our Savior to be Born!”

These donations, of many different amounts, will help us maintain the beauty, comfort and safety of our spiritual home. For those who have contributed and those still considering a donation, thank you so much. As always, if you have any questions about the campaign or how to make a donation, please call the parish office: 508-393-2413 Merry Christmas to one and all!

We know very little about St. Joseph, but in today’s Gospel we see him clearly as a man who dearly loves Mary. When an angel comes to him in
a dream, he dares to believe. Joseph is told to give their child a special name, Jesus, which means, “Yahweh saves.” Emmanuel means “God is
with us.” How do our lives show others that God is with us? Family Faith on the Go

Advent Prayer for Families
Heavenly Father, your son, Jesus is your greatest gift to us,
a great sign of your love. Guide us as we strive to walk in that love together as a family
this Advent. As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, bring us closer to each
other and to your son. Give us the grace and strength we need every day.
Help us to always trust in you. Come, Lord Jesus, lead all people closer to you.
Come and dispel the darkness of our world with the light of your love.
Amen

Many thanks to all who participated in another successful year for the St. Rose Annual Giving Tree. We appreciate all the parishioners who bought gifts and gift cards and all the youth who helped sort and distribute everything. A huge thank you to our Giving Tree Coordinators Pam Poitras, Jason Cote and Michele Hatem for their continuous efforts. As a parish, we donated over 1,000 gifts and could not have done it without your generosity. Thank you once again for sharing in the spirit of Christmas!
