Dear Parishioners: After a very busy Holy Week and a very busy Easter Sunday, we look forward to the celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday. That gift is the spe-cial promise made by Jesus to His disciples when He re-turned to His Father. The presence of the Holy Spirit with the spiritual gifts accompanying His arrival gave dynamic life to the early Christian community. That same Spirit continues to infuse our life as a parish com-munity with the challenge to go forth and preach the gos-pel of Jesus Christ through the modeling we offer in our lives. For us at St. Patrick, a significant part of that rejuvena-tion will be the addition on our church, long overdue. This addition will make our facilities appropriate for the 21st century. A number of hurdles have to be surmounted before this becomes a reality. Two are coming up in the very near future. On Tuesday, April 17th, the Town Historical Commission will consider our application for approval to proceed with this addition. On Monday, April 23rd, the Town Planning & Zoning Commission will also consider our application for approval for this project. Many parishioners have asked what they can do to sup-port our requests. As parishioners and citizens of Farm-ington, it is appropriate for you to attend one, or both, of those meetings to express your support. If you wish to do so, I encourage you and thank you in advance for your important support. Sincerely, Fr. Barry
St. Patrick Peer Ministry

Beginning this spring, the OEEC will be hosting a Catechist Formation Training for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a very special and unique approach to faith formation based on Montessori learning. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is divided up into 3 levels: Level I serves children ages 3-6, Level II serves children ages 6-9 and Level III serves children ages 9-12. Many parishes utilize the Level I (ages 3-6) as an extremely effective means of early childhood catechesis.
