Sacrament of Reconciliation St. Joseph - Sunday 11:45 am St. Olaf - Wednesday 5:00 pm SAINT JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH This weekend is Corpus Christi, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of our Lord. Normally we would have had a Eucharistic procession and a picnic. That is not possible this year. We will be honoring our Eucharistic Lord with a short period, a half hour, of adora- tion at the end of the 5 PM Mass on Saturday night and at the end of the 10:45 AM Mass on Sunday. If you must leave at the end of Mass, please do so quietly. Next week we will be running the cable that will connect the Parish Center with the Church and Rectory at St Olaf. We will then extend the network over to those two buildings so that we can drop the internet charge on the rectory and also provide the connection to the internet that we need for the new live stream solution. The audio system upgrades will likely go in the week of July 13th at the beginning of the new Pastor’s regime. The speaker wire is now being run at St Joseph in preparation for the installation of the new sound system. I am still hopeful that this will be completed before I leave. Due to where the speakers need to go to opti- mize the sound, the “Wheat” on the left side of church and the quilt on the right side will need to come down. I am open to suggestions as to where they might best find a new home. Congratulations to those we bring into the Church and Confirm this weekend. Offertory Donations Counting The processing of offertory donations to St. Olaf that have been mailed or dropped off at the parish center will be counted on June 17 & 30. The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ This weekend, June 13/14, is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). To celebrate this, at the end of the 5:00 PM Mass ONLY at St. Olaf and the 10:45 AM Mass at St. Joseph, there will be Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction with a 1/2 hour for Adoration. For those attending either of these Masses, please plan on staying if possible. For
those unable to stay for Adoration, we ask that you depart quietly.
