Faith-Full in 2018 Soon the decorations will be cleaned up, presents will be put away, and a new year will be upon us.
Our joyful celebrations behind us, it will be time to put our Christmas faith into practice. Building off
our exploration of the Apostles’ Creed and the Solas of the Reformation, we will begin a sermon
series on Faith-Full living. We’ll talk about some basic Christian practices that unleash our God-
given potential to grow in faith and impact our community. As we make our way toward Easter
celebration, we’ll provide opportunities to connect with one another, to enable St. John’s to better
impact the community, and to worship with clergy friends from other congregations.

St. John’s is a Church of Grace and Truth
At St. John’s we seek to be grace-filled, graceful, and a people of truth.
Believing Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, we understand our need
for the grace he offers. We believe in responding in gratitude for the grace
we have received by extending grace to others. We do this by loving God,
one another, and our community, and reorienting our lives around the
truths handed to us through the Holy Scriptures. Join us in the journey!

NEW LADIES WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASS BEGINS… Class is based on
the 7 I AM statements from Gospel of John. What is that relationship, that
insecurity, that hurt, that desire, that prayer you’ve brought to God countless times?

moments, it’s what makes you the most suspicious of Him. If God is good, why
isn’t He being good to you in answering this cry of your heart? Join us and let’s see
what Jesus wants to say to us and how He wants to satisfy our hearts. Facilitator:
Tammy Knight. Class meets in Heritage Hall each Wednesday evening.
