Dear Parents, Pupils, Staff and Parishioners, We are almost at the end of another extremely busy term. The children and staff have worked so hard. Next week the children will be learning about the events of Holy Week. Year 5 will perform live Stations of the Cross for the whole school on Thursday. Mousike Ensemble: On Thursday 22nd March 2018, Year 4 attended Mousike Ensemble at Christ the King School, along with classes from four other schools. During the morning, the children enthusiastically sang songs that they had learnt and played percussion instruments. The theme was ‘Travelling Through Time’. To finish the morning our children performed ‘Jailhouse Rock’. They learnt a dance routine, played guitars, ukuleles and sang. They looked the part too! We were very proud of our talented pupils.

Year 3 Fundraising for Lenten Charities

Coventry Young Ambassadors:

Last Friday two Year 4 pupils, Millie Tucker and Callum O’Grady attended the Young Ambassadors’ Conference for the Tokyo Olympics 2020. They took part in many activities including origami, karate and traditional Japanese drumming. They had a fabulous day and even met a medal winning Paralympic athlete.

Thank you to Coventry City Football Club

On Tuesday, Year 5 were visited by some of the Coventry City footballers, as part of their Move and Learn PE sessions, with Sky Blues in the Community. The children had a brilliant afternoon and asked some interesting questions. They had the opportunity to take part in a handball lesson alongside the players and learnt about what professional footballers eat, as part of a healthy diet. SJF who won their home game against St Mary and Benedict's, 17-1. Well done to the whole team, you all played brilliantly, very determined to win and were like netball ninjas on the court! Keep it up – Semi-finals next!
