The Route
This biking vacation around the central Dalmatia region of Croatia is a wonderful guided tour by bike and boat. Stunning cycle rides during the day and relaxation on your floating hotel at night. We shall visit two national parks and the islands of Central Dalmatia, starting from Trogir. Highlights include the UNESCO protected old town of Trogir, Primošten, Šibenik with its famous cathedral, Zadar, National Park Krka waterfalls and Kornati Islands
Ship ROMANTICA
The Romantica of captain Jure was launched in May 2007. The ship is 32m long and 7,6m wide and it possesses a solid structuralsteelwork, which, as the name says, connects romance with modern trend and functionally. To the elegant appearance of his shipcaptain Jure pays a lot of attention. The top sundeck offers couch mats for sunbathing and relaxing. A characteristic of the ship is aplatform at the stern of the boat, from which you can take a bathe in the sea.
Day 1 (Sat) Trogir – Rogoznica
Flight to Split. Boat at Trogir. First cruise to Rogoznica ‐ a village on a small island which is connected to the mainland by a dam
Not a great start. It’s pouring!
Day 2 (Sun) Rogoznica – Primošten – SibenikIn the morning we cycle from Rogoznica to Primošten. From here the boat takes us to the city of Sibenik to the spot where the KrkaRiver flows into the Adriatic Sea. After visiting the famous cathedral and the lovely old town we set off again and take the boat to Vodice where we spend the night.
Day 3 (Mon): Vodice - Murter – Slanica - SaliCycle to Slanica. Then the boat takes us on a cruise through the National Park Kornati, an archipelago in crystal clear water which is known for its rich aquatic realm. Our destination is the Nature Park Telašcica. In the evening a walk through the park leads us along the stunning cliffs of the island. The famous Silver Lake ‐ known by movies of Winnetou‐ is also located in the Nature Park. After visiting the Nature Park, our boat takes us to the picturesque harbour of Sali, where we spend the night.

Day 4 (Tues) Island of Dugi Otok – ZadarCycle from Sali along a virtually traffic‐free and panoramic road. We ride clear across the whole island. During the ride we’re treated to countless unforgettable vistas of the islands in the deep blue sea. We meet our ship in the harbor of Brbinj and have lunch. Afterwards the ship takes us to Zadar, which, for centuries, was the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. Our tour guide takes us on an extensive walk through the lanes of the lively old centre. 3000 years of history have left their imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to be admired: the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, the loggia but also the early Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica

We cycle along the east coast, always with beautiful views to the mainland and the ocean.
Day 6 (Thu) National Park of Krka – Island ZlarinThrough wooded valleys we ride to Lake Visovac. On an island in the lake is the Visovac Monastery. It was settled by Augustinian monks, who established a small monastery and church dedicated to the Apostle Paul in the 14th century. After a swimming breakwe cycle back to Skradin through quiet villages. Afterwards we visit the Krka National Park. In the late afternoon we sail to the coral island of Zlarin. In the peaceful atmosphere of the island we spend a relaxing evening.
