You and your fellow Scouts set sail and explore the vastness of Kentucky Lake on your very own 25-foot sailboat. A staff support boat is alwaysclose at hand, but the the boat is all yours!
This High Adventure Sailing program is limited to older Scouts and Venturers who have sailing experience, strong leadership skills, and a thirst for fun and adventure.
To participate, you must be at least 14 years old and have earned the Small Boat Sailing merit badge, and pass BSA swim test.
You're the CaptainAquabase is part of the Lincoln Heritage Council’s Pfeffer Scout Reservation. Located near Benton, Ky., Pfeffer Scout Reservation is within a day’s drive of two-thirds of the U.S. population.
High Adventure Base close to you
This exclusive program only takes 26 scouts per week, and spots fill up quickly. To make your reservation, visit www.lhcbsa.org. A $75non-refundable deposit per Scout is due at the time reservation is made.
