One “Going Out”

This 467 yard par four is a challenging first hole. The hole favors a long tee ball, with room for error, as the fairway is very wide. Your round could start with disaster if youfind the bunker in the middle of the fairway. It will be difficult to advance the ball outOf this bunker, it is modeled after the famed “Hell Bunker” of the Old Course at St. Andrews. The approach shot is over water to a green tucked into the hill-side.



Two

The second par four is 465 yards. The tee shot is down hill over a pond with a slightdog-leg right. The approach shot is also downhill to a large green. The green has two levels and is receptive to incoming shots. The large bunker to the left guards any stray shots hit short and left.



Three “The Sag”

Club selection is everything! Easier said then done, this 170 yard par 3 has an elevated tee 140 feet above the green. The bail-out area short of the green was carved out of the ravine allowing for a short shot to be playable. With the creek directly behind the greenit is better to be short than long. But wait, if you are going to be short, don’t be right, there is a small pond just to the right and in-front of the green.With all this to think about, be sure to stop and enjoy the water fall to the left of the tee.



Four “Road hole”

The number four par five is 586 yards long with a double dog-leg, both turning to the left.This hole follows the base of the mountain to the left and creek to the right. There are Two stone walls running perpendicular to the fairway that where un-harmed during theconstruction, and now serve as a kind of launching pad for golfers. The plateau green is surrounded by bunkers, mounds, and undulations in the earth.

Five “Short”

The name is short, but for those who don’t respect it will be sorry when they go to thescorecard. The elevated green is large but difficult to hold, with a huge cavernous bunkerin front and a ravine to the right. The strategy for this hole should be to lay-up to the terrace in front of the green this will allow for a pitch shot to the green. For those playersfeeling lucky, and hitting driver good luck!



Six

Another long par three with a elevated tee, it does not play 228 yards. There is a bail-outFairway to the left running parallel with the creek. If you hit the ball right, the slope ofthe mountain will steer your ball towards the green and fairway.


Seven The par four number seven fairway is between the creek and a large waste area. The starts very wide and gets tight at towards the landing zone, giving a great risk-rewardvalue to this hole. The approach shot is over the creek to a green that is guard by two bunkers. A bunker behind the green was built out of stone found on the green site.



Eight “Double Cross”

“Grip it and rip it” off of this tee, the fairway is almost 200 feet wide allowing room for error. Across the creek the greens complex is quite large and forgiving. This hole shouldplay as one of easier holes on the course.




Nine

This tee is elevated about 60 feet above the landing zone, giving the golfer a dramaticview of the course. The par five starts at the highest point on the course teeing off over a pond to a landing zone guarded by a fairway bunker on the left. It is best to lay-up thesecond shot to the edge of the split fairway. This leaves a short downhill shot to a largegreen. Pay close attention to the pin placement, as the green is separated by a mound inthe middle of the green. The small pond on the left and large bunker on the right mightmake your decision easier if you are thinking of reaching the green in two.
