Keep your head. Stay as calm as possible and evaluate your options.

Make a decision based on the circumstances. But, don’t resist if the attacker has a weapon.

If you are approached by someone in a vehicle, do not enter the vehicle

If you are being forced into a vehicle by a subject, experts recommend that you physically resist and scream for help

Keep assessing the situation as it is happening. If one strategy doesn’t work, try another.

You may be able to turn the attacker off with unusual behavior such as acting crazy, stating you have a sexually transmitted disease, pretending to faint, etc.

Remember, by law you have the legal right to defend yourself, you do not have to be a victim.

Seek help immediately! call X2911(on campus) or 911 (off campus).
