SPECIAL HAIR INSTRUCTIONS
• Tie back long hair when using heat, or equipment with gears or spinning parts.
• Hair preparations such as hairspray, gels, and mousse are often very flammable. Their use in a lab situation is discouraged.

CLEAN UP ALL SPILLS
• Tell your teacher what was spilled.• Clean up minor spills with paper

BROKEN GLASSWARE
• Inform the teacher of the break and get a replacement.
• Teacher must clean up broken glass. Broken glass is put into a separate container (not the trash).
• Never use chipped glassware.• Do not immerse hot glass into
