Transcript of Safety and Health for Everyone (Oct. 11 & 12) Co-Chairs: NS2/Arthur Knell SD3/Angel L. Plaza.
Safety and Health for EveryoneFire.Safety.Health.DisAbility
This year’s production, though smaller in some respects, will cover an even broader spectrum of safety- and health-related topics that will include fire, safety, health, and for the first time, disability issues, thus the theme: Safety & Health for Everyone.
Not only will the inclusion of a new topic bring added variety, it will introduce problems and solutions to sections of the workforce who may not understand what our impaired coworkers face on a daily basis. We hope to bring both clarity and compassion to issues perhaps not fully recognized and, in doing so, strengthen our mutual work capabilities.
