Review trends and analyze strengths, weaknesses and best practices across all agencies, developing reports explaining such data and analyses. Responsibilities Provide analytical support for the newly created Safety Management Office. Responsible for the completion of critical analysis of allagency metrics, strategic and project initiatives. Identify trends that may indicate risk or positive trending and undertake strategic planning tasks, including analysis that may develop new or shape existing programs. Coordinate with Agency Safety and Operating Departments on various reporting strategies to be undertaken and ensure a consistent understanding and common language for reporting metrics. Develop adhoc reports based on analysis of agency reports and ensure appropriate distribution (internal and external as required). Communicate with various MTA Departments and agencies on matters relating to project/program status and reporting and ensure appropriate tracking of such status. As assigned by supervisor, conduct analytical work in response to requests from agencies, external agencies and Board members, for information regarding trending and project status as well as being responsive to direct requests. Conduct rigorous data analysis to ensure an ongoing Safety Management System is in place across all agencies and any necessary changes in metrics are identified and coordinated across agencies. Develop optimal business strategies by transforming available information into useful data sets, executing appropriate analytics to guide strategic decisionmaking. Assist in formulating recommendations for strategies and in some cases assist in executing these strategies. Use oral and written communication skills to explain analytical findings and justify datadriven recommendations. Qualifications Must possess excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present data and findings to a wide audience. Must possess ability to prioritize among competing needs and opportunities and manage multiple projects at the same time. Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must possess 35 years of experience developing and analyzing reports. Must possess progressively responsible experience in program or project planning anddevelopment. Must possess prior experience working with Office Suite with a proficiency in excel and PowerPointas well as other analytical software.Other Information
