GVD Standalone & Mini Enterprise NVRsM4, M3 & M2 SeriesThe Standalone and Mini-Enterprise are GVD's turnkey NVRs powered by the preinstalled HD NVR to deliver essential to enhanced IP video surveillance. These NVRs are smartly designed to quickly join GVD’s Central Management Solution, which attends to 10,000 channels at the most.

The M4108 & M4106 Mini Enterprise are the newest NVRs inducted to GVD's intelligent NVR family. They receive all the advantages from its M4 siblings, such as 10TB HDD support to bring a total of 80TB storage space and optional RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 for data insurance, while they also possess some characteristics that excels its kindred:

They are capable of 4K high-resolution display because of the enhanced hardware decoding brought by the 6th-generation CPU/GPU from Intel® it uses, and they also features rich display outputs including each a HDMI, DVI, VGA & DisplayPort to extend the video view onto a double of displays. It is a competent NVR for small towns, campuses and small- and medium-size factories.

New NVR for video surveillance

GVD Mini Enterprise M41-SeriesThe M41- Mini-Enterprise NVRs are capable of 4K high-resolution display by using a 6th-gen CPU/GPU from Intel® while they keep all the advantages from their M40- siblings, such as 10TB HDD support to bring a total of 80TB or 60TB storage space and optional RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 for data insurance. The M41- NVRs also feature rich display outputs including each a HDMI, DVI, VGA & DisplayPort to extend the video view onto multiple displays.

The M41- are competent NVRs for small towns, campuses and small- and medium-size factories. For system scale-up, they are smartly designed to quickly expand to GVD's Central Management Solution, which attends to 10,000 channels at the most.

Reliability Painless system recovery & hardware health monitor with system alarms

Each GVD NVR comes with a Windows embedded system image tool to reserve a copy of the system state and software settings, which can be used to restore system back to stable status, just within 5 minutes. The NVR has a Rule Wizard to let you define which critical hardware conditions to launch an alarm. A variety of hardware conditions can be monitored such as HDD temperature, CPU temperature, fan speed and so on.

Scalability Project expansion without much trouble

GVD NVRs are made highly scalable to allow quick scale-up to large deployment without replacing the whole platform. They also come with flexible storage configuration to easily increase storage capacity, and the camera integration relies on a “Device Pack” to take in new cameras and lets you expand your legion of cameras without overhauling the whole platform. Various applications can be add-ons to the NVR, including POS, LPR, BAS, ACS, VCA and so on.

Optimization Of video processing and video display

GVD NVRs have adopted an exclusive "TSE" (Time Sector Engine), to make it easy to process massive video data and decrease latency, so video retrieval and data transmission are incredibly fast. Such "TSE" is the fastest video processing engine that can maximize the number of supported IP cameras on one single NVR. The real-time video processing from an IP cam to NVR is controlled at only 150ms~200ms. Video display is also optimized by an enhanced GPU, 4K resolutions, H.265 HW decoding and Adaptive Video Streams. The consumption of network also gets optimized by using Adaptive Video Streams, Smart Pattern (, which covers 4 combinations of different video showing speeds). The less bandwidth is consumed, the more video can be viewed.

GVD NVR comes with Modbus support, the most popular serial-communication protocol widely-used for Building Automation. Software Functionalities Time Sector Engine

Unlike conventional NVRs with a centralized database, a GVD NVR adopts an exclusive TSE (Time Sector Engine) to handle high bandwidth throughput, deter latency for massive HD video processing and get superb video display, whether live or not. The NVR has high recording rate at max. 288Mbps, handles up to 64 IP cameras, and processes video at high speed with 150ms~190ms latency for a D1 resolution with full frame rate display, and the NVR gives you the best real-time PTZ control by this exclusive TSE.

Adaptive Video StreamsGVD NVR is built-in with a sophisticated video technology called “Adaptive Video Stream”. It is normally the case that an NVR decodes the high-resolution main stream to display. As the images from such main streams are generally larger than viewer size, the NVR often needs to shrink them to display. GVD then comes up with the idea for the NVR to take the sub stream instead of the main stream when the viewer is small enough. Based on “adaptive bitrate streaming”, the NVR auto-detects the size of the viewer which is trying to access the video. The NVR also detects CPU capacity real-time to auto-adjust video display speeds.

Fisheye dewarp GVD’s software dewarp feature can bring the different dewarp features from various camera manufacturers to an established standard of GVD’s. So you can easily get the distortion-free video from your panoramic fisheye cameras without extra settings. GVD’s software dewarp is the total solution to fisheye dewarp.

Edge recordingAs a developer of sophisticated video solutions, GVD breaks through the limit of failover with "Edge recording", which means a GVD NVR automatically reduplicates the video data stored in the SD or memory of a camera after video recording task fails back onto the NVR. Also, video streams and playback won't be uninterrupted with such "Edge recording". This feature is much helpful for a broken network and also better protection of video data.

Rule Wizard and alarm managementGVD NVR has extra powerful alarm management, which features a Rule Wizard to let you you decide which conditions to launch an alarm and which actions for the NVR to take. A variety of hardware conditions can be set to establish an event, including hard disk temperature, CPU temperature, fan speed and so on. Once an alarm launches, a preset action such as an email notice or a pop-up window will be triggered to call your prompt attention.

Video Content AnalysisGVD NVR includes Video Content Analysis, which includes Video Motion Detection, E-Fence, and People Counting.
