• Based on the strategic placing of intelligent power management devices throughout the network, in the event of a power outage the DPS4 draws power from the nearest available source over existing coax or power cable. Utilizing breakthrough AC/AC stabilizing technology safecom's DPS4 + Power Booster ensure maximum voltage level – even over long distances.

The concept

What is DPS- Ver 4?

• A two-way RF Pass 1GHZ passive device that “toggles” available power between two distant locations.

• Redirecting power from the "normally" remote powered area, to the area subject to power outage.

• During normal mode of operation, when there is no power outage at either end of the pair, the DPS v4 acts as power block to the other side.

The Power Booster solves the power distribution problem in a CATV network caused by high-resistance and low energy-efficient coax cables or power cables. The unit ensures the optimal voltage levels required in remote locations by fiber nodes, trunk amplifiers, and line extenders overcoming voltage drop along the power or coaxial able.
