saying “please,” “thank you,” and “excuse me”.

We use our manners in the cafeteria when we are

respectful to adults and other students.

We use our manners in the cafeteria when we stay in our assigned seat and raise our hand when we need help.

We use our manners in the cafeteria when we use our

quiet inside voices.

We use our manners in the cafeteria when we

have appropriate conversations with our

friends.

We use our manners in the cafeteria when we raise our hand

and show the “Give Me 5” sign when we see staff raising their

hand and showing the sign.

We use our manners in the cafeteria when we eat with our silverware when we should, and

when we eat with our fingers when we eat finger foods.

We use our manners in the cafeteria when we eat

our own food.

We use our manners in the cafeteria when we chew our food with our

mouth closed.
