Locker products are used on resource projects, warehousing, civil/commercial projects, and manufacturing/process industries.

Locker Group has four main product categories

Grating Accessories Kickplates: Kick plate can be attached to grating.

Nosings: Nosings can be attached to grating. The types

of nosings available are floor plate, perforated

and yellow replaceable.

Grating Clipsets: Fasteners for securing Locker grating

to the supporting structure.

Expanded Mesh: An expanded metal layer attached to

Locker grating to prevent objects

falling through the grating.

Floor Plate: Floor plate that is attached to the top of Locker

grating. (Minimum thickness of 5 mm)

Grating FinishesGrating can be supplied in three commonly specified finishes:

Hot Dipped Galvanised:A durable, abrasion resistant zinc coating by immersion into a bath of

molten zinc (4500C). The hot dipped galvanising process conforms to

Australian Standard AS/NZS4680-1999, British Standard BS729-1971, and

American Standard ASTM-A123-73.

Black Bitumen Dipped:

An economical bitunamel paint that is applied by spraying or dipping

methods. The steel is not pre-treated in any manner. This finish is only

suitable for use in mineral processing plants located in a dry climate, or an

indoor installation. It is not recommended for use in corrosive environments.

Mill or Untreated finish:This is unprotected steel and is generally supplied to clients who must do

extra fabrication to our product or require a special coating to be applied.

Handrail Product Overview There two main types of handrail systems manufactured by

Locker:

Ball & tube- 40NB stanchions & standard rail configuration of 32NB top rail and 25NB knee rail.

Prefabricated Handrail – Stanchions & rails to suit customers requirements.

(Supplied in Prefabricated Panels)

Note: Ball & tube can be supplied commonly in mild steel.Aluminium, and Stainless Steel are available upon request.

Handrail FinishesHandrail can be supplied in two (2) commonly specified finishes:

Note: Ball & tube is a modular system and is designed for site assembly

and erection. Painted handrails can be supplied, however, it is best to paint

the handrail after installation, or prefabricate into panels and then paint.

NATA Load Testing: Locker has a NATA approved load testingfacility to conduct testing of our products to meet the requirementsof the Australian Standards.
