“Your father and I have been looking for you with great anxiety.” (Luke 2:48) Mary and Joseph, as parents, have anxious moments. These moments are
part of family life. Just because Jesus is sinless, doesn’t mean that family life goes perfectly. Jesus is perfectly human and divine, so sharing our humanity means that there will be trials. Our families face the same trials and anxieties. But Jesus, Emmanuel, is God-with-us, so we take comfort that he is with us in our difficulties. “After three days they found him in the temple.” (Luke 2:46) Sometimes we too, search for peace in our family life and it takes time to find that serenity. By asking God for this peace, over time we deepen our desires and learn to trust and rely upon God. May Jesus, Mary and Joseph bless you with the peace they find, as Jesus says, “in my Father’s house” (Luke 2:49).

Year-End Tax Deadline
The IRS regulations require donations to be received by a charity on or before December 31, 2015 or postmarked December 31, 2015 to qualify
as a deduction for 2015. The center will be open 8:00-4:00pm as usual on Thursday, December 31 for your convenience in making a last minute
contribution. We will watch the mail on January 4, 2016 for
any envelopes postmarked December 31, 2015 so that you are credited appropriately.

Strong Bones Strength Training Program is starting again
at Sacred Heart! The Strong Bones Program is a weekly exercise program for men and women of all ages. Each class
includes progressive weight training, flexibility and balance activities.
People with health concerns such as arthritis, heart
disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, obesity, and back
pain often benefit the most from an exercise
program that includes lifting light weights a few
times a week.
Jeanne Kaczorowski will be your instructor for Strong Bones. The classes will start on January 5 and
runs through March 24. Class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45pm to 4:45pm. If you are
interested please call the Shawano County UWEX office at 526-6136 or pickup a brochure and mail in the registration. Class fee is $30.00 for the winter session (12 weeks). We are able to provide some weights, so if
you have your own please bring them, along with a towel/mat and wear comfortable clothing. We will meet in the school cafeteria.
