We will be offering opportunities during the school day to help families through the application process in February,
March, and April. Families are asked to call the school office to schedule their appointment.
Reminder that voucher availability through this program is on a first come, first serve basis throughout Shawano, so please
apply EARLY!! **Families who currently receive a Choice Voucher still need to log
into their Choice account and ACCEPT their voucher for the upcoming school year during the application period.
Sacred Heart Catholic School is thrilled to remind you that we are a part of the Wisconsin Private School Choice Program. The state
of Wisconsin’s program allows eligible students to attend a participating private school (like Sacred Heart) in grades four-year-old kindergarten (4K) to 12. The private school, on behalf of the
student’s parent or guardian, receives a state aid payment for each eligible student.
Through this program the State of Wisconsin pays for each CHOICE student’s tuition, field trip costs, and school supplies (most families who qualify for a CHOICE voucher, also qualify for
free/reduced food services as well). Once a student is accepted into the CHOICE program his/her costs are covered in full through the
child’s 8th grade year at Sacred Heart and through 12th grade at accepted private high schools! What an amazing blessing and gift!

Building Maintenance Funds
We humbly wish to thank our parish members for their continued support of parish needs for funding to maintain our buildings and grounds. We are very proud of our facilities which serve the needs of our members, guests, students, and staff. Recent accomplishments include: New Church roof, replacing school playground woodchips, updated air handling system for school gym, and new concrete sidewalk sections. Future needs to be considered include: Replacing flat roof area on north church/school entrance, safety/fireproof doors for cafeteria entrances in church basement, and one school classroom floor replaced each year. Anyone wishing to designate parish offerings to be used for any one of these projects or the Building Maintenance Fund is encouraged and welcome to do so. Our sincere thanks and appreciation!
