LOVE is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, It does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, Always perseveres. 1Corinthians 13:4-7

1 Corintios 13:4-7

Project Stephen

Catholic men of Central Texas: are you sensing a call to the permanent

diaconate? Would you like help with what this means, and what might be next?

Then discuss the possibility of your call with your pastor and then, with his

permission, come explore next steps with Project Stephen.

Project Stephen meets every third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at

the Pastoral Center in Austin.

• Come hear deacons share about their own sense of call, their formation

journeys and their lives of service.

• Come learn who a deacon is (qualities and characteristics), what he does

(charisms of Word, Liturgy, and Charity) and what it takes to become a deacon

(discernment and formation).

• Come pray before the Blessed Sacrament, study St. John Paul II's wisdom

about discernment and enjoy the fellowship of other men/couples sensing

where God is leading us.

Couples are urged to discern together so wives are strongly encouraged to

attend these sessions. Let Project Stephen help you discern - and answer - God's

call to the permanent diaconate.

To ensure we have enough materials for you, please let us know which Thursday

(s) you will be joining us: [email protected]
