We needed a single unified dashboard to provide one version of the truth for senior management.” Aiding regulatory compliance over alcohol sales in the different states was a key requirement of a new BI system. SABMiller also aimed to improve decision making by having business-critical reports ready in one hour rather than days. Solution: SABMiller India approached Gartner to help it find the best business discovery solution on the market. It recommended QlikView with support from Qlik Partner KPMG India. Datta recalls: “KPMG India helped us to develop the dashboard views to help us make the most of our QlikView business discovery solution. QlikView pulls together all the data from our enterprise data warehouse into a single, functional dashboard, which is critical to our business.” QlikView has automated the collection of data from the data warehouse, which was previously done manually and prone to error.
