As a rising senior at the SZABIST majoring in Human Resource Management, the opportunities and experiences that the Soneri Internship afforded me were absolutely remarkable and knowledge enriching.

Soneri places an extremely high value and belief into its internship and the candidates in which they select. When I first arrived on the banks HR division,I was astonished by the close-knit culture and atmosphere that had been established at the central office. After all, I have never seen a division as lively as Soneri's HR.

I am sincerely grateful on the investment I have made on my career pathway,I am very fortunate to intern at a banking sector and I get to do a bit of everything.

THE BEST THING ABOUT INTERNING AT A PLACE LIKE SONERI IS THAT I GOT TO WORK ON TASKS WHICH BEAR SIGNIFICANCE TO THE BUSINESS INSTEAD OF THE ROUTINE TASKS THAT INTERNS ARE USUALLY ASSIGNED TO ELSEWHERE. IT WAS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR ME TO GET HANDS ON EXPERIENCE OF THE WAY THINGS FUNCTION HERE.

I learnt about the recruitment processes and reward structure that were assigned and evaluated on a first-hand basis.

With the guidance from my mentors and outstanding help I received from everyone at Soneri, during my internship were extremely prodcutive and helped me gain insight into normal business practices. Throughout my internship, I have gained great exposure and insight to the world of HR. I also learnt the importance to lead by example and have good relationships with clients as well as colleagues.

I would like to thank the recruitment team for giving me the chance in the best company I have ever worked for. I met wonderful people to work with who gave me advice me on the type of career I wanted to do and for which skills and interests are suitable.

I realised that work is so much different from study and it really requires a lot of common sense and self initiatives.

I am thankful for the time and effort Ali, my supervisor has put into guiding me throughout all the days. He has been a great help to me during my time spent here. He is very detail oriented and very very organized. His knowledgeand efficiency in MS Excel surprise me at times as I am bit of a slow learn at IT stuff. He is responsible, responsive, values time and possesses good knowledge in the field of HR and Finance. I wish my supervisor all the best and wish him luck in his upcoming ACCA papers and wish him excellence n his career as well.

The entire team of Hr works tirelessly and independently manage their work and work well within teams as well. I am glad that I was able to form a bond of friendship with them due to their immense support throughout the journey together.
