Product DescriptionThe advanced features of the S183PMII and S184PM-SLDF allow you to splice today’s andtomorrow’smostexoticfibertypes.Whetherperforminghigh-strengthsplices,splicingsmallcladdingfibers(80μm),largecladdingfibers(S183PMII:500μm,S184PM-SLDF:1200μm),PMfibersorerbiumdopedfibers,theS183PMIIorS184PM-SLDFisthesplicerfor your high-end application.

S183PMII and S184PM-SLDF automatically adjust for different fibercoatingandcladdingsizes.Thereisnoneedtoexchangev-groovesorfiberclamps.Inaddition,theS183PMIIandS184PM-SLDF have been designed so that the user simply loads the fiberandclosesthe lidtobeginthespliceprocess.There isnoneedtolowerorsetfiberclampsbeforestartingtosplice.

S183PMII and S184PM-SLDF automatically perform a tensile prooftestonthefiberandreleasestheholderlidtoavoidtwistingthefiberafterthesplice.Thisautomationeliminatestheneedfor the user to manually open and reset the splicer after each fusion splice.

Thisfunctionadjuststheparametersautomaticallybasedonthesettingfibers,and achieves accurate splicing with dissimilar core diameter splicing. If there isnofusionprogram,thisfunctionisusefulforanycombinationoffiberswithdissimilar core diameters.

The new design uses intuitive operation to control motors.Withmanysupporttools(suchasalignmentandAutomaticrotationaladjustment),acomplexfibercan be spliced effortlessly by Manual splicing.
