Background information • The S1000D User Forum incl the S-Series Spec Day is an international annual event • Every 3rd year, one of the S1000D parent organizations (ASD, AIA, ATA) has the

privilege of hosting this event • In 2016, ASD will be responsible for hosting the Forum in Europe • Usually this is delegated to one of the ASD member organizations • TEDAE volunteered to be the 2016 host in Seville, Spain • The User Forum is a tremendous opportunity for any country to showcase

themselves, their industry and their customers to a large world community • As the name already indicates, the users of S1000D and of the other S-Series Specs

shall be in focus as speakers, talking about their experiences and expectations • Some figures from former S1000D User Forums and S-Series Spec Days

– 2013, Vienna, hosted by ASD/AAI: 237 participants, 54 presentations, 14 exhibitors – 2014, San Antonio, hosted by ATA (without S-Series Spec Day, but with ATA specs, 3 tracks):

380 participants, 58 presentations, 31 exhibitors – 2015, San Diego, hosted by AIA: 282 participants, 54 presentations, 18 exhibitors
