The Dark Side of Literature
Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson (1850-1894) was a playwright novelist, poet, and essayist. He wrote some of the most well-known works in English literature, including The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Treasure Island, and A Child’s Garden of Verses. Much of his writing contains elements of mystery, horror, and the supernatural.
