QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“Time can be wasted but never recycled.”
Greetings!
Good news! Bishop Joensen has given permission to begin public celebrations of the Eucharist on weekdays. Beginning Tuesday, June 16th we will offer weekday Masses at 8am, Tuesday through Friday. Masses will be livestreamed on Facebook and posted on the parish website later. These will also be livestreamed for the foreseeable future.
Hopefully by the end of the month we will be able to gather for weekend Masses. That will depend on the numbers. Just a reminder – the obligation to attend weekend Masses is suspended until further notice. If you or someone you live with has a compromised immune system or are in the at-risk population you should probably still not attend. Our primary concern is for the safety of our parishioners.
We will need to take precautions, such as asking those attending Mass to wear a protective mask and keep physical distancing between families. We will also need to disinfect the Church between Masses, so this could influence Mass times. We will know more as we gain experience with the weekday Masses.
Thank you for your generous support during these trying times. Know that you are in my prayers as we move forward.
Blessings, Fr. Greg

Remember in Your Prayers (all those affected by the coronavirus
throughout the world.)
Compassionate and Loving Father,
In the face of confusion and concern Impart to us the calm of Your presence.
In You allow us to find hope and healing.
Be with those who serve the sick and give them Your caring hand.
Be with those who lead and give them Your spirit of wisdom.
Be with those who have fallen ill and give them Your comforting heart.
Wrap Your arms around our world and hold us in Your love.
Allow us at this time of trial to then serve as instruments of that
love to all we meet.
We ask this in Your name. Amen.
