BACCALAUREATE MODELING Phase I is a collaboraEon with Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo to perform staEsEcal analysis of student data to idenEfy factors predicEng student success. Phases II and III have the goal of designing a systems dynamics model and adapEng the model to other California undergraduate insEtuEons. Phase I is funded and should be completed in winter 2015/2016.

2. HosEng three symposia, two regional and one statewide, focusing on using technology to enhance student success in Common Core Math and the Next GeneraEon Science Standards

There were many wide-‐reaching rollout acEviEes and broad interest from policymakers and journalists. CCST briefed the Governor, Lt. Governor, Legislature, staff of the California delegaEon of Congress, and execuEves in the Natural Resources Agency and the Environmental ProtecEon Agency.
The report has been the focus of numerous arEcles in the media. The Governor called for an interagency group to address the report recommendaEons and the state is developing an implementaEon plan.
Amber Mace, Jane Long, and Laura Feinstein visited DC earlier in October an briefed congressional staff on the findings and recommendaEons of the report.
